Dentistry of the Carolinas (DOC), a Charlotte based private dental group, is proud to announce the recent acquisition of Perrino Dentistry.
Perrino Dentistry, located in the University region of Charlotte, will take on the Dentistry of the Carolinas name in early 2013. The office employs eight staff members and focuses primarily on general dentistry with additional treatment for preventative, restorative and cosmetic cases.
“Dentistry of the Carolinas has seen incredible growth over the last twenty years,” explains Clark Hammock, DMD, DOC Executive Vice President. “Although the economic landscape has drastically changed during our two decades in business, the needs for dental services have maintained and we are happy to report we’ve continued to produce steady growth as we expand and create more jobs throughout the region.”
This is the second acquisition in 2012 for DOC. In February, DOC expanded their reach to Spring Lake, North Carolina, with the purchase of a general dentistry practice. Since 2008, DOC has increased personnel over 40%. Within the last three years, the corporate office has expanded three times to satisfy this need. Most recently, an additional office suite was purchased and renovated to house DOC’s monthly company-wide staff meetings, internal educational seminars, and a dental study club hosted by Dr. Hammock and various guest lecturers.
