Prettyman Orthodontics Celebrates 15 Years of Creating Confident Smiles
[Charlotte, NC – February 5 2025] – Prettyman Orthodontics is proud to celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2025, marking a decade and a half of exceptional orthodontic care and thousands of transformed smiles. Since welcoming its first patient in August 2010, the practice has grown from a small operation to a thriving multi-location orthodontic team that has treated over 5,000 patients.
Founded by Dr. Chase Prettyman, the practice began with just one or two chairs in the back of a few Dentistry of the Carolinas (DOC) offices, seeing only three to four patients per day. Today, Prettyman Orthodontics operates three established offices and serves 60-80 patients daily, offering advanced orthodontic treatment in a welcoming and patient-focused environment.
Key team members like Samantha Chambers, the very first employee, and Lisa Kragness, who joined shortly after in October 2010, have been instrumental in the practice’s success. Samantha was recently named the 2024 Employee of the Year, while Lisa received the same honor in 2014. Their long-standing commitment to Prettyman Orthodontics reflects the practice’s strong culture of excellence and patient care.
“We started everything together—from figuring out what supplies to order to designing patient forms and clinical sheets,” says Dr. Prettyman. “It’s been incredible to see how much we’ve grown, and we couldn’t have done it without our dedicated team and loyal patients.”
